Register for a PayPal merchant accounts
To register for a PayPal account, you’ll need the following information:
- Your full name and address.
- A valid email address (one that matches your billing information).
- A physical mailing address where we can send your activation/activation code (if applicable).
Confirm your email address

To process transactions, merchants need access to their bank accounts. The best way to do this is by setting up an ACH transfer from those banks—you’ll need both the merchant’s bank number and routing number as well as information about how much money was deposited into your new debit card.
Activate your account.
Once you’ve created your account and activated it, you’ll receive an email to confirm your email address. Click on the link in the email to activate your account. This can take up to 48 hours but don’t worry—you’re probably not going anywhere!
Once activated, PayPal will ask for some personal information from you: a phone number (so they can confirm with you that this is really YOU), and a valid debit or credit card number (so they know how much money should be transferred).
